[Rockwell Study]

Wow... this is a pretty complex face you've captured. Its like its in transition to emotions, or something.
This is fun to stare at.

Wonderful. I get a feeling of wonder and decay from this, and I think the color choices worked realy well.

I definetely get a sense of the feather texture up on that crow's head... and the shadowing isnt terrible...
I can see you've drawn a few crows before.
And what you did with the splashes in the background, i think it works.
Though this crow looks happy... im not sure if you were going for happy crow.

Interesting how you converted this into a more graphic style. Nice shadowing, though I'm not quite sure whats happening on his chin.

Man, this makes me wish I had taken that printing class. You've done the tentacles wonderfully, though I'm not sure if the mix of the more detailed cephalopod with the silhouetted background figures works the best. But you've definitely done the kraken well.... man, I just want to stare at those tentacles.

You've also sort of captured the folk-tale/legend essence of the subject. Thats nice.

thanks man glad you appreciate it and well yes i use the traditional name of it due to from my research and i thought wouldn't it be cool and legendary if its name was where its folktale come from.

Haha, thanks. The theme has been surprisingly fun to work with. Plus you get to change the shapes and colors of well known foods. I switched the colors of the cheese and pepperoni so it wouldn't instantly read as pizza.

Hm. Hellenistic...

Not bad, the 3d modelling is pretty good. The texturing is not exactly amazing, but for something in game, its really good. You might not want to have them floating in the air, though... and maybe not have them totally facing away from the light (moar chiaroscuro?) but otherwise, prety goood.

Thanks. The shot is supposed to be more symbolic than realistic. I chose the slight back-lights to give them a more mysterious feel.

Nice, but Really?

While this is, actually, somewhat badass, it is simply bad taste to compliment yourself. Rather, if you had acted humble, angry people scouring the internet would not have found justifying a bad comment as well. Really, don't ruin artistic potential with pretentiousness. Like... i don't know, say "I feel really good about this work" or shit like that.

If someone really was a prodigy, they would be even more intriguing if they acted humble. I mean, maybe you just felt good about this artwork. But out of context, it really annoys people. Whatever. Just next time, make sure your don't sound like a total ________.

I dont just give my art a simple picture that you would look at with a glance. You need to have a small moment of time to soak everything within the drawing, Thank You thats exactly what i am going for :)
